Biodegradable Fillable Cotton Tea Bags

Ideal for taking to work or for travel, these fillable eco friendly tea bags allow you to enjoy your favourite loose leaf tea without the need for a teapot or kyusu.

To use: Place your tea leaves into the fillable bag and fold shut. These bags are ideal for smaller leaf teas that don't need as much space to expand.

The special biodegradable tea bags are made from a material called Bemliese™ that was developed by manufacturer Asahi Kasei from cotton linter.

• Each pack contains 60 fillable bags sized 9.5 x 7.0 cm before filling. When filled, the bottom expands 2 cm 
• Made in Japan

About the material: The material used for Subaru's fillable tea bags is created from cotton. When added to compost or buried it in the soil (tested by burying 2-3 cm below soil surface), the material decomposes in a matter of weeks (bacterial composition of the soil may change the decomposition speed).
