Chasta Heat Resistant, Tritan Teapot
These clear, heat resistant teapots are made by Kyoto Morihan.
The Chasta teapot is a modern and functional piece of tea ware created by long standing teahouse Morihan, established in 1836. Created using Tritan, a synthetic resin, these teapots are heat resistant, BPA-free, durable and lightweight as well as scratch / crack resistant.
The teapot comes with two removable strainers for different types of tea leaf. There is a fine mesh strainer and one with larger holes. The clear strainer can be placed either way around to change the style of brewing.
This pot has many uses. It is perfect for brewing tea but will also work as a matcha whisking bowl or water cooling jug. The design is inspired by traditional katakuchi and the shape makes it easy to handle with both left and right hand.
