Izumo Jasper Bead Bracelet from Shimane

Izumo is a well known historic place that appears in Kojiki and Nihon Shoki (Famous Classic Japanese Historical Texts)

It is said that one of the Three Sacred Treasures of Japan, named Yasakani no magatama is made from Izumo Jasper.

Other than the imperial family members no one is allowed to see this Treasure and no literature about it remains.

There are several mining areas for Jasper in Japan but Izumo is considered the most famous one since the quality of the stones is exceptional.

Each bracelet comes with a JSA certificate and paulownia box.
