This delicious hojicha powder is made from Izumo Seichas spring sencha tea. 

The hojicha leaf is ground for longer than other tea powders to create a smoother texture. 

The characteristics of this hojicha powder are robust but naturally sweet with roasted cocoa aroma.

About Izumo Seicha: 

Izumo Seicha was established in 2006 as the sister company of Tosuien, a family run tea farm established in 1907. Izumo Seicha specialises in green tea that is grown and processed in their own tea factory.  

President Yuta Oka, won the 1st prize in the individual division of the National Tea Judging Technique Competition in 2022. He was honoured as the best tea master in Japan!
