White Tokoname-ware Toki Maru kyusu from Jinsui Kiln
This unglazed Kyusu from Jinsui Kiln is made from white Tokoname clay. Tea steeped in unglazed Tokoname teapots is said to have a mellower taste.
There is a "ceramesh" tea strainer integrated with the main body's so that you can pour tea without using a metal tea strainer. There is no metallic odour or taste, so you can enjoy the original taste of your tea.
White clay is thought to slightly filter the tea when brewed, removing some astringency from the tea

Maintenance:
1. After using the teapot, wash it with water and wipe off the moisture thoroughly.
2. Please dry the teapot in a well-ventilated place with the lid removed before storing

About Tokoname: Located on the west coast of the Chita Peninsula facing Ise Bay, Tokoname City in Aichi Prefecture is known as a pottery town nationwide. Tokoname ware is counted as one of the six oldest kilns in Japan. Pottery has been made here since the 12th century.
