Tempaku 天伯 is the god of heaven. An apt name for Uejima's highest grade, Imperial Ceremonial Matcha.
Delicious high-grade matcha that is suitable for both ceremonial Usucha & Koicha (thick tea) preparation.

About the Farmer: Noriyasu Uejima is a tea master. In the 90+ year old tea tasting competition held in Kyoto, he is the only winner to ever achieve a perfect score. Cultivating and processing some of Kyoto's finest teas. He is the 5th generation master farmer carrying on a tradition that dates back to the mid-19th century. The Ritz Carlton Hotel of Kyoto features his teas in their lineup for their guests.

Wonderful tea for special occasions
My tea arrived today and i immediately decided to make a delicious hot drink with it! I must say, it is the most delicious and highest quality tea I've ever tasted. The vibrant, bright green colour of the tea is simply mesmerising and adds to the overall experience. The flavour is rich and smooth, with a perfect balance of umami and sweetness that leaves you craving more.
The presentation is equally impressive. The beautiful jar it came in is not only aesthetically pleasing but also adds a touch of elegance to the whole experience. It's clear that a lot of thought and care went into every aspect of this product, from the cultivation of the tea leaves to the final packaging.
I highly recommend this matcha to anyone looking for a premium tea experience.

The delightful matcha tea boasts a strong aroma and flavour. It offers a rich umami taste complemented by gentle sweet undertones.
