Vermillion Obsidian from Hokkaido, Japan
This Obsidian was generated by the volcanic activity of Mt Daisetsu about 1.5 million years ago.
Stone Meaning: Fortune for business, Power to predict the future.
Historically Obsidian has been processed into tools like arrowheads and knives, obsidian has been loved by people since prehistoric days.
There are some samples that turn slightly white from scratches they sustain while floating in the river and other samples contain a pitch-black glassy texture that is barely seen from the outside.
There are also some types with a red texture that have been collected from time to time and they are called Vermillion Obsidian. This type of obsidian is becoming much more difficult to obtain making these bracelets even more special.
